Comparing native DOM color against Fold's 3D-rendered text/box color
Each row shows the same hex color in three renderings side by side: DOM (native browser
text, unaffected by Fold), FoldUi — default (no data-foldpage-lit in the
ancestry — the material used when the attribute is absent), and FoldUi — lit (wrapped in a
bare data-foldpage-lit, resolving to the 'standard' preset — this is the material
path actually used by the site's nav and footer links).
The two FoldUi columns should read visually identical to each other and as close as possible to the DOM
column. The Design Tokens section uses the project's real CSS custom properties
(_tokens.scss); the Hue / Lightness Grid below it sweeps HSL space for
broader coverage when trial-and-error tuning materials or lighting.
